Dear China…
Whattaya fuckin stupid?!
The free citizens of Taiwan voted to NOT submit to your pathetic nonsense. Unlike the ruling lords of the Chinese communist party, they have the common sense insight to see what you’ve done to Tibet, Hong Kong, and numerous outlying provinces that have been subdued by your ruthless oppressive boot.
People don’t want to live in a one-party dictatorship. Is that so hard to understand? They don’t want to be surveilled, they don’t want to be punished for having autonomous values, goals, and lifestyles.
If tomorrow, China became a multi-party free and open society and ASKED Taiwan to unify with them, probably most citizens would be fully on board. Instead, China’s ultimate demand is that virtually everyone submit to an institution marked by unbrideled cruelty, incompetence, and ruthless evil.
The authoritarian collectivist project is always the same whether in China, Russia, Venezuela, or the U.S.A. Seize power through force, guile, and corruption, eliminate opposing views, and establish firm authority over as many people as possible. The arguments for their mission are mere icing on poisoned cakes. Their ultimate mission, whether they are the CCP or America’s Democrat party, is the acquisition of limitless power and control.
This is the atmosphere in which the Communist Party of China has demanded dominion over the South China Sea and countries anywhere near the mainland. This is the circumstance that leaves the leaders of China puzzled.
It again begs the question, “Whattaya fuckin stupid?!”
